Lotensyl Drug Interactions
A lot of drugs have been found to interact with Lotensyl HCL tablet. Some of these drugs include anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen), bosentan, barbiturates such as phenobarbital, cimetidine, medicines for prostate problems, grapefruit juice, local anesthetics or general anesthetics, herbal or dietary supplements, St. John's wort, red yeast rice, medicines for fungal infections (fluconazole, ketoconazole, itraconazole, voriconazole), pills for HIV infection or AIDS, medicines for high blood pressure, drugs for seizures (carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital, primidone, onisamide), rifampin, or rifabutin, rifapentine, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, some medications for heart-rhythm problems (amiodarone, verapamil, diltiazem), some antibiotics (clarithromycin, telithromycin, erythromycin, troleandomycin), some medicines for depression or mental problems (fluoxetine, nefazodone, fluvoxamine), water pills (diuretics), zafirlukast, yohimbine and zileuton etc.
Lotensyl Drug Precautions
Before you take lercanidipine tablet, it is necessary that you inform your doctor all medical conditions you have especially liver or kidney problems, any other heart problems, a record of heart attack less than one month ago, porphyria (a rare blood disorder). Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
